Peter B. Maggs

I'm a law professor at the College of Law of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I hold the Clifford M. & Bette A. Carney Chair in Law. Since 1993 I have been spending much of my time working on projects to aid the development of the legal systems of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, and Ukraine. My research centers on Russian law and intellectual property law, particularly copyright and trademark law. I also have an interest in international commercial arbitration.
